Terms and Conditions

The terms that govern your use of AI SEO, operated by AI SEO Malaysia.

Last updated: 9 October 2026

These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the website at https://checker.aiseo.com.my, the AI SEO web application at https://app.checker.aiseo.com.my, and the related MCP server, agent skills, plugins and free tools (together, the "Service"). The Service is operated by AI SEO Malaysia ("AI SEO Malaysia", "we", "us" or "our").

By creating an account, subscribing, or otherwise using the Service, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you use the Service on behalf of a company or other organisation, you confirm that you are authorised to accept these Terms on its behalf, and "you" includes that organisation. If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the Service.

1. Eligibility and accounts

  1. Age. You must be at least 18 years old to create an account or buy a subscription.
  2. Account details. You must give accurate registration details and keep them up to date.
  3. Account security. You are responsible for keeping your login details, API keys and connected agent tokens confidential, and for all activity under your account. Tell us immediately at jason.aiseo@gmail.com if you suspect unauthorised use.
  4. Team members. If you invite other people to your organisation, you are responsible for their use of the Service under your account.

2. The Service

  1. What we provide. AI SEO provides SEO research and monitoring tools, including keyword research, competitor and domain insights, backlink data, rank tracking, site audits, AI search visibility, saved reports, and access to these features through AI agents via MCP.
  2. Licence. Subject to these Terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use the Service for your own business purposes, including SEO work for your own websites and for your clients. You may export the reports and results you generate and use them in your own work and in client deliverables.
  3. Restrictions. You must not: (a) resell, sublicense or redistribute the Service or its data as a standalone data product; (b) use the Service or its data to build a competing product or service; (c) copy, modify, or create derivative works of the Service except as allowed by law; (d) circumvent usage limits, credit checks, rate limits or security measures; or (e) access the Service by automated means other than the interfaces we provide (such as the web app, API keys and MCP server).
  4. Third-party data. Much of the data in the Service comes from third-party providers, such as DataForSEO, Google and AI model providers. Search volumes, traffic estimates, rankings, backlink counts, difficulty scores and AI answers are estimates. They can be incomplete, delayed or inaccurate, and we do not guarantee them.
  5. No ranking guarantee. The Service helps you make decisions; it does not guarantee any search ranking, traffic, revenue or other result.
  6. AI features. Some features use AI models to generate text, analysis and recommendations. AI output can be wrong or incomplete. You are responsible for reviewing it before relying on it or publishing it.
  7. Changes to the Service. We may add, change or remove features from time to time. If we make a change that materially reduces a paid feature you rely on, we will give you reasonable notice where practical.
  8. Support. We provide support by email at jason.aiseo@gmail.com on a reasonable-efforts basis. We do not guarantee response times.

3. Your responsibilities and acceptable use

  1. Sites you audit and connect. You may only run site audits on websites you own or are authorised to audit, and only connect Google Search Console or Google Analytics properties you are authorised to access.
  2. Lawful use. You must use the Service in compliance with all applicable laws, including the Personal Data Protection Act 2010, the Communications and Multimedia Act 1998 and the Copyright Act 1987 of Malaysia, and the laws of any other country that applies to you.
  3. Prohibited conduct. You must not use the Service to:
    • infringe anyone's intellectual property, privacy or other rights;
    • upload or distribute malware, or attempt to gain unauthorised access to the Service or any other system;
    • overload, disrupt or interfere with the Service, its providers, or the websites it crawls;
    • send spam or unsolicited messages;
    • collect personal data about other users without their consent;
    • create multiple accounts to abuse free credits, trials or the refund policy; or
    • carry out any unlawful, fraudulent, defamatory, or harmful activity.
  4. Enforcement. We may investigate suspected breaches, remove content, suspend features or accounts, and report unlawful activity to the authorities.

4. Subscriptions, credits, fees and refunds

  1. Plans. Some features require a paid subscription. Prices and what each plan includes are shown on our pricing page and at checkout. Prices are in US dollars unless stated otherwise.
  2. Billing. Subscriptions are billed in advance on a recurring monthly basis until cancelled. Payments are processed by our payment providers (currently Stripe, through Autumn). By subscribing, you authorise us to charge your payment method for each billing period.
  3. Usage credits. Data and AI usage is measured in credits. Credits included with a subscription reset at the start of each billing period and do not roll over. Top-up credits you buy do not expire, but you need an active subscription to use them. Some tasks, such as AI visibility setup research, are charged after they finish; if one costs more than your remaining credits, it still completes and your included-credit balance may go below zero. We do not charge your card for the difference. Credits have no cash value and cannot be transferred or exchanged for cash. If we close your account for any reason other than your breach of these Terms, or we stop providing the Service, we will refund the unused balance of top-up credits you paid for. If you close your account yourself, or we close it because you breached these Terms, unused credits are forfeited. Free trial credits may be limited, changed or withdrawn at any time.
  4. Taxes. Prices exclude taxes unless stated otherwise. Where we are required to charge Malaysian Service Tax or any other tax, it will be added to your charges.
  5. Price changes. We may change our prices. We will give you at least 30 days' notice of a price increase for an existing subscription, and the new price will apply from your next billing period after the notice period. You can cancel before then.
  6. Cancellation. The organisation owner can cancel the subscription at any time from Billing > Manage subscription in the app, which opens our payment provider's billing portal. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period: your access continues until then, and you will not be charged again.
  7. 30-day money-back guarantee. If you are not satisfied with your paid subscription, email jason.aiseo@gmail.com within 30 days of your most recent subscription charge and we will refund that charge in full. The guarantee covers the subscription fee only; top-up credit purchases are not refundable, except where the law requires. When we refund a subscription charge, we cancel the subscription and remove the credits included for that billing period. We may decline a refund where we reasonably suspect fraud or abuse of the guarantee, such as repeated subscribe-and-refund cycles.
  8. Failed payments. If a payment fails, we may retry it and may limit or suspend paid features until it is resolved.
  9. Consumer rights. If you are a "consumer" as defined in the Consumer Protection Act 1999, nothing in these Terms, including sections 9, 10 and 11, excludes, restricts or modifies the guarantees, rights and remedies you have under that Act (including the guarantees for services in Part VIII) or any other right that cannot be excluded by contract. If you acquire the Service for business purposes and are not a consumer under that Act, its consumer provisions may not apply to you.

5. Your content and data

  1. Your content. "Your Content" means the information you submit to or generate in the Service, such as project details, websites, keywords, saved context, reports and chat messages. You keep ownership of Your Content.
  2. Licence to us. You grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, store, process, transmit and display Your Content only as needed to provide, secure and improve the Service for you, and to share it where you ask us to (for example, when you create a public share link to a report).
  3. Your responsibility. You are responsible for Your Content and confirm you have the rights needed to use it with the Service.
  4. Feedback. If you send us feedback or suggestions, we may use them without any obligation to you.
  5. Personal data. Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle personal data.

6. Third-party services

The Service connects to third-party services, such as Google Search Console, Google Analytics, AI assistants and MCP clients you choose to connect, and payment and data providers. Your use of a third-party service is also governed by that provider's own terms and privacy policy. We are not responsible for third-party services, and we may stop supporting an integration if the provider changes or withdraws it.

7. Intellectual property

The Service, including its software, design, text, graphics and logos, and the "AI SEO" and "AI SEO Malaysia" names and marks, is owned by AI SEO Malaysia or its licensors and is protected by intellectual property laws. Except for the licence in section 2.2, these Terms do not give you any rights in it. Parts of the Service's software are based on open-source components that are licensed to us under their own licences.

We respect intellectual property rights. If you believe material available through the Service infringes your copyright, email jason.aiseo@gmail.com with:

  1. your name and contact details;
  2. a description of the copyrighted work;
  3. the location of the material you believe infringes it (for example, the URL);
  4. a statement that you believe in good faith that the use is not authorised by the copyright owner or the law; and
  5. a statement that the information in your notice is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or authorised to act for the owner.

We handle notices under Part VIB of the Copyright Act 1987. After receiving a valid notice, we will remove or disable access to the material within 48 hours and inform the person who made it available. That person may send us a counter-notice stating that the material was removed by mistake or misidentification, or that they are entitled to use it. We will send a copy to the complainant and restore the material after 10 business days unless the complainant tells us they have started court proceedings. Knowingly making a false notice or counter-notice is an offence under the Act and may make you liable for resulting loss. We may close the accounts of repeat infringers.

9. Disclaimers

Subject to section 4.9, the Service is provided "as is" and "as available". To the maximum extent permitted by law, we make no warranties or representations of any kind, express or implied, including about merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, availability or non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free or secure, or that any data or AI output will be accurate or complete.

10. Limitation of liability

  1. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive loss or damage, or for any loss of profits, revenue, business, goodwill, data or search rankings, arising out of or in connection with the Service or these Terms, even if we were advised of the possibility of such loss.
  2. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability to you for all claims arising out of or in connection with the Service or these Terms is limited to the greater of (a) the amounts you paid us for the Service in the three (3) months before the event giving rise to the claim, and (b) USD 50.
  3. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under the laws of Malaysia, including liability for fraud or your rights under section 4.9.

11. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify AI SEO Malaysia against any claims, losses, liabilities and reasonable costs (including legal fees) arising from your breach of these Terms, your misuse of the Service, Your Content, or your violation of any law or third-party right.

12. Suspension and termination

  1. By you. You can stop using the Service at any time and ask us to delete your account by emailing jason.aiseo@gmail.com.
  2. By us. We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these Terms, if required by law, if your account has had no paid subscription and no sign-in for 24 months (after at least 30 days' notice by email), or if continuing to provide the Service to you would expose us or others to harm or legal risk. Where reasonable, we will give you notice first.
  3. Effect. When your account ends, your right to use the Service stops and we may delete Your Content in line with our Privacy Policy. Sections 4.9, 5, 7, 9, 10, 11, 13 and 14 continue to apply after termination.

13. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make a material change, we will notify you by email or through the Service at least 14 days before it takes effect, unless the change is required by law sooner. If you continue to use the Service after the change takes effect, you accept the updated Terms. If you do not agree, you can cancel and stop using the Service.

14. Governing law and disputes

  1. Governing law. These Terms are governed by the laws of Malaysia.
  2. Resolving disputes. If you have a dispute with us, please contact us first at jason.aiseo@gmail.com so we can try to resolve it. If we cannot resolve it within 30 days, either of us may refer it to the courts of Malaysia, which will have exclusive jurisdiction. This does not stop you from bringing a claim to the Tribunal for Consumer Claims Malaysia where you are entitled to do so.

15. General

  1. Electronic communications. You agree that we may communicate with you electronically and that agreements, notices and other communications we provide electronically satisfy any legal requirement that they be in writing, in line with the Electronic Commerce Act 2006.
  2. Entire agreement. These Terms and the Privacy Policy are the entire agreement between you and us about the Service.
  3. Severability. If any provision of these Terms is found invalid or unenforceable, the rest of these Terms remains in effect.
  4. No waiver. If we do not enforce a provision, that is not a waiver of our right to do so later.
  5. Assignment. You may not transfer your rights under these Terms without our written consent. We may transfer our rights and obligations to a successor business.
  6. Language. These Terms are written in English. If they are translated, the English version prevails to the extent permitted by law.
